Picture of the Day for 11-02-2004 |

Well, here it is, election day. Tomorrow, we'll know who's lawyers will be on the defensive and who's will be on the offensive and in a couple of months after the several supreme court decisions, we'll know our president. As for this republican, I'm going to break party ranks and vote for Kerry. The current president has let me down as an American and for the first time in my life, I feel less safe, more embarassed and less financially secure. Too many questions have arisen from the conduct of this administration and I remember a time when the only thing we had to worry about the executive branch was what the president was doing with cigars. One other important part to my decision is the fact that my peacefully sleeping child will have to carry the burden of debt that this president managed to swindle to his CEO lobbist friends. I find this administration irresponsible in letting government spending go out of control while cutting taxes. It doens't take a rocket scientist to realize that in order to stay financially okay you match your intake with your outake. Folks, stop listening to the spin machines and check the facts. Rock the vote. | ||

Abuelo | While your sleeping child is the picture of innocence, the world of politics is anything but, regardless of which party is in office. It is nice to fantisize that your vote will change that but it won't. | Nov 2nd 2004 11:23:39 AM |
Glenn | Less politics. More photos. (I look forward to this being over so we can get back to seeing plates of food.) | Nov 2nd 2004 11:50:02 AM |
